Sen. Al Franken poked fun at Mayor Chris Coleman’s singing, Sen. Ted Cruz’s “charm” offensive and Speaker Paul Ryan’s presidential protestations during this year’s MinnRoast monologue. Franken also shares his conversation with Gov. Mark Dayton on 2018 gubernatorial prospects, all in the video below.
Franken’s remarks were briefly interrupted by demonstrators, who blasted air horns and shouted comments while he was on stage. You can see his response, as well as the response of Mayor Betsy Hodges to a similar interruption during her performance.
