Soprano Maria Jette brings her golden voice back to the MinnRoast stage

MinnPost is pleased to announce the return of noted soprano Maria Jette to the State Theatre stage on April 15. You can watch a snippet of her performance from last year in the MinnRoast 2015 highlights below. The versatile Jette is able to lend her voice to early Baroque opera, Edwardian parlor music, Latin American chamber music, Tin Pan Alley and the Great American Songbook. MinnRoast, now in its ninth year, has become a highlight of the Minnesota political calendar, bringing policymakers and journalists together to poke fun at each other and the state we all love in songs, skits, and monologues.

Joining Jette this year will be Gov. Mark Dayton, Rep. Tom Emmer, Sen. Al Franken, Minneapolis City Council Member Abdi Warsame, St. Paul Mayor Chris Coleman and more. You can find more information about the event and special guests here.
