Ever wonder what the Democratic and Republican National Conventions are really like: behind the scenes, outside the arena — all of the stuff you can’t see on TV? Well, it’s time to find out.

On Aug. 1, MinnPost Washington correspondent Sam Brodey — fresh off of covering both events — will answer all of your questions, not only about the DNC and RNC, but also about Minnesota’s congressional campaigns, which include three of the most competitive races in the country.

The event, sponsored by RBC Wealth Management, will take place at Modist Brewing, in Minneapolis, from 5:30-7 p.m. Light appetizers and food for thought will be provided.
