More than 100 people gathered Tuesday evening at Summit Brewing Company in St. Paul to discuss the political campaigns and the upcoming elections with MinnPost Washington correspondent Sam Brodey and state politics reporter Briana Bierschbach.

MinnPost Editor Andrew Putz moderated the discussion, which touched on everything from Evan McMullin’s electoral prospects to why the best political mailers in Minnesota include recipes.

The conversation was a part of the MinnPost Social event series, sponsored by RBC Wealth Management, in which our journalists share their insights with the public in a casual atmosphere. The events are free for MinnPost members, $10 for nonmembers.

The next MinnPost Social will take place in January to discuss the 2017 legislative session.
