This morning, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation announced the Knight News Match, a $1.5 million fund to match individual donations up to $1,000 to select nonprofit newsrooms.
MinnPost is one of 60 nonprofit news organizations selected for this generous challenge grant, which means that the Knight Foundation will match $25,000 of gifts made to MinnPost during our year-end campaign. The foundation hopes this fund will raise awareness about the important value of the journalism and encourage readers to support MinnPost during this critical year-end campaign.
Readers can take advantage of this dollar-for-dollar match by making a year-end gift to support MinnPost today.
In addition to this generous match, readers who become Platinum members by giving at least $20 per month (or $240 at one time) will be eligible for new one-year digital subscriptions to The New York Times.
And when you do, take a moment to tell us why. We will reprint them as the member drive continues.
