Only a few days remain in MinnPost’s year-end campaign; we need your help to meet goal

We continue to make progress on our year-end campaign as we head into the final days of 2016.

We sincerely thank all those who have given during our year-end campaign – and at any point during the rest of the year. MinnPost is proudly member-supported, and couldn’t do what we do without you.

In this campaign so far, we have received 379 gifts collectively worth nearly $46,000. We need to raise an additional $7,500 to receive the full $25,000 Knight News Match grant, and another $29,000 to hit our goal of $75,000 by Dec. 31.

Any gift will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $1,000), and get us closer to our goal.

In addition to this generous challenge grant, readers who become Platinum members by giving at least $20 per month (or $240 at one time) will be eligible for new one-year digital subscriptions to The New York Times.

Many of those who have already contributed took a moment to tell us why they did. Some recent comments are posted below, with permission.
