In our latest FAN Club giveaway, MinnPost Platinum members awarded two weeks’ worth of MinnPost advertising to three Minnesota nonprofits: Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota; Habitat for Humanity Minnesota; and League of Women Voters Minnesota.
Each of these winning organizations will receive advertising on MinnPost worth up to $1,650. During this voting round, MinnPost members nominated 34 organizations whose valuable work benefits Minnesotans in every area of the state.
Here’s a little bit about this voting period’s winning organizations:
- Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, based in St. Paul, delivers reproductive health care, sex education, and information to women, men, and young people and operates twenty clinics in the tri-state area.
- Habitat for Humanity Minnesota, based in Minneapolis, is a statewide resource development and support organization that serves, advocates for and advances the work of Minnesota’s Habitat for Humanity affiliates who build simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with people in need.
- League of Women Voters Minnesota, based in St. Paul, is nonpartisan organization dedicated to completing full enfranchisement of women and increasing effectiveness of women’s votes in furthering better government.
As a nonprofit ourselves, MinnPost launched the FAN Club (Free Ads for Nonprofits) program in July of 2016 to support our community and those who work to make it better, and to create a new way to thank our members for their ongoing financial support.
Our next FAN Club giveaway will take place in late January. Voting will again be open to MinnPost Platinum members, who give MinnPost the equivalent of $20 or more per month.
