We’re now more than halfway through our Earth Journal campaign, which encourages gifts from readers in support of our award-winning environmental reporting.
More than 25 readers have taken the opportunity to join our generous Earth Journal Circle donors in sustaining the column, which was recognized in 2015 as the best independent news blog (on any subject) by the Minnesota Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
We urge readers to chip in for this worthy cause by making a gift in any amount before our campaign ends on February 28.
Here’s what a few of the members who have already contributed during this campaign had to say about why they support MinnPost and Earth Journal:
The best way to get transparent news is to support the local news sources on the ground. – Kat Lehmann, Minnetonka
I give to support independent news. – Judith Moore, Saint Louis Park
