The final day of MinnPost’s 2017 Spring Member Drive

We have 26 gifts to go to meet our goal for this campaign. If you count on MinnPost’s coverage, please consider making a gift today to help us reach this goal.

Today is the final day of our Spring Member Drive. We set out with a goal of 150 gifts and aimed to encourage new members to support MinnPost’s work to help us continue to grow in 2017.

We have only 26 gifts to go to. If you count on MinnPost’s coverage, please consider making a gift today to help us reach this goal.

Throughout the drive, we’re thanking members with a print subscription to The Atlantic for donations of as little as $5 a month — half the normal qualifying amount.

Thank you to the 65 new members who have joined during this drive. Below are comments from some of them, and some current members who took this as an opportunity to make additional gifts in support of our work.

Join them with a contribution today, and when you do please share with us why you support MinnPost.

Here’s what a few of the readers who have already contributed during this drive had to say about why they gave:

We give to support the detailed coverage of the Minnesota Legislature. – Andria and Tim Waclawski, Minneapolis

I appreciate the excellent original coverage. As we watch newspapers’ light dimming, it’s important to support those who are trying to let the sunshine in. I strongly suspect user-supported media will be the future of real news. – Nancy Edmonds Hanson, Moorhead

I support MinnPost for the excellent journalism and in-depth coverage on education. – Julie Sweitzer, St. Louis Park

I feel the need to support quality journalism at this particular time in history – not only by reading your valuable content, but by providing financial support. In so doing I hope to help keep that great content coming (as well as help keep good journalists employed)! – Denise P. Engen, Minneapolis

We like MinnPost’s long-form reporting. The Atlantic offer was too good to pass up. – David and Suzanne Moseman, Minneapolis

We need fair, balanced journalism now more than ever! – Amy & Dan Weiss, Minnetonka
