Election coverage for Minnesotans who give a…

MinnPost needs to get 150 new or renewing members by June 30 to unlock a $3k challenge fund.

Look, we don’t use salty language lightly. But when it comes to our coverage in a big election year like this one, we feel the situation calls for it.

Our nonprofit newsroom is ready to take Minnesotans who truly give a damn/darn/hoot/rip beyond the horserace headlines and deep into the issues shaping this election and the future of our state.

To deliver that in-depth coverage, though, our reporters need support from MinnPost readers. As we kick off the Summer Member Drive, we’re aiming to inspire 150 new/renewing members to donate at any level by June 30. If we hit that goal, an additional $3,000 Challenge Fund will be unlocked.

Readers who donate are also encouraged to let us know why they support MinnPost. We’ll report those comments in updates throughout the drive.
