With 10 days to go before our year-end deadline, here’s where we stand:
So far this month, more than 350 supporters have donated to put us just $31,181 away from hitting our goal.
As we head into the homestretch, we can’t take anything for granted. In the last year, support from over 3,500 MinnPost members at all levels funded our in-depth coverage, including 140+ articles and interactive features on the 2018 election alone. For 2019, we’re full steam ahead on taking you into the new political dynamics and policy challenges facing Minnesota at all levels of government.
But we need to hit our year-end goal to make it happen. Your support in any amount — $50, $25 or even $10 — will get us there and power our thoughtful, independent journalism in the year ahead.
Hearty, boisterous thanks to those of you who’ve donated this month or at any time in the last year. Your commitment to MinnPost’s nonprofit newsroom is crucial to our mission-driven journalism. Some of you were kind enough to also share why you support MinnPost. Here are just a few of those comments.
“To fund journalists reporting on state and local government.” — David Brauer, Minneapolis
“Journalism and libraries have the power to keep democracy afloat.” — Christie Burke, Richfield
“MinnPost is current and reliable news. Keep up the good work.” — Charles Parson, Puposky
“The quality of your reporting has earned my support.” — Allan Klein, River Falls
“Great source of local news and insights on Minnesota’s economy and culture.” — Virginia Housum, St. Paul
We’re so grateful for your kind words and your generous support. Thanks for getting us this far to our year-end goal. If you haven’t given yet, will you help us close the gap and power our reporting in 2019?
