MinnPost: an essential service in Minnesota

While there are many unknowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, MinnPost is delivering level-headed reporting to help you navigate the situation. Our team of reporters is working especially hard to bring you in-depth, daily coverage of the coronavirus, without the hysterics.

This has been a difficult time for many nonprofits and businesses, MinnPost included. Among other challenges, we’ve lost part of our advertising revenue, and we had to cancel MinnRoast, our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Normally we would be in the middle of our Spring Member Drive right now, but instead we are reaching out directly to you, our loyal readers, to ask you to help us continue to be an essential service for in-depth reporting on COVID-19 in Minnesota and the other challenges now facing our state.

True to our nonprofit mission, MinnPost makes all of our original reporting available for free. No paywalls. No subscriptions. Reader support is critical to this important work. We know it’s an uncertain time for many. But if you’re able, will you donate now to make sure our hardworking reporters have the resources they need to continue their in-depth coverage?

Your donation — in ANY amount — makes a difference. Will you give right now to support this critical work?

Whether or not you can donate, we hope you continue to turn to MinnPost as a source for thoughtful, clear-eyed reporting throughout this crisis. We’re here to serve all of Minnesota.
