If the COVID-19 pandemic has done anything, it’s reaffirmed that predicting the future is a fool’s errand. Recognizing that, MinnPost prepares for the uncertainty and aims to be nimble in responding to the needs of our community as they arise. Central to our ability to do that are MinnPost sustaining members.
Through automatic recurring donations, which are often at $5 to $15 a month, sustaining members provide a predictable and ongoing base of support for our thoughtful, in-depth reporting. As we enter a new phase of the pandemic, we’re looking toward the future and asking you to be with us as we help our community navigate the most pressing challenges of today and tomorrow. Will you stand with our team with ongoing support of $15/month or any amount that works best for you?
To underscore just how important sustaining members are to MinnPost’s future, a generous board member has put a challenge on the table: if we get 100 new or increased sustaining members by June 24, we’ll unlock an additional $5,000 to support our nonprofit newsroom. Will you help us meet this challenge?
THANK YOU to everyone who’s donated during our Summer Member Drive so far! When people donate to MinnPost, we ask them what inspired them to do so. Here are a few recent responses:
“Need to keep local news going!” — Michael, Minneapolis
“Love the independent news!” — Barb & Gene, Andover
“As a public servant, I can trust MinnPost to share the latest, most accurate information about state government.” — Melissa, St. Paul
“It’s a very interesting publication covering news all over Minnesota that you don’t always read in local community newspapers or in a timely manner.” — Anonymous donor, Underwood, MN
Thank you! We appreciate you standing with our team and our service to the community.
