It’s the first day of our summer member drive and, while the MinnPost team is certainly enjoying patio season, we’re still hard at work bringing you in-depth reporting on the critical issues in our state because the news doesn’t take a summer break.

Throughout our summer member drive, we’ll be talking about the quintessential parts of Minnesota summers. For me, that means jumping in lakes, riding my bike to Lynx games, grilling in the backyard and, especially, eating ice cream.
