A commerical that aired during the Super Bowl has Minnesota connections. The “Grim Reaper” spot for H &R Block, which aired in the second quarter of the game, was created by local advertising company Campbell Mithun. The cost for the 30-second commerical: a cool $3 million.

Campbell Mithun was started in 1993. Its current clients include General Mills, Burger King and Land O’Lakes.
