Pavek Museum of Broadcasting Audio and Video Coordinator Daniel J. Henry explains the history of the early sound recording equipment found within the Jack Mullin Collection at the museum. Visitors have a chance to hear a tape recording of the “Bing Crosby Show” on a Magnetophon or play with radio waves to make music on a Theremin without even touching the instrument.

The Pavek Museum in St. Louis Park opened in 1988 thanks to the efforts of Joe Pavek, a former electronics instructor who started collecting back in 1946.
