The University of Minnesota’s Bell Museum has developed a program that brings creepy, crawly creatures directly into elementary school classrooms. Second-graders in Apple Valley get to touch and learn about several kinds of animals and insects, including cockroaches. The program’s goal is to give kids a better understanding of the natural world around them.
