Sen. Klobuchar talks Franken and why the applause went so long

Sen. Amy Klobuchar appeared on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” Tuesday to speak about the swearing in of Sen. Al Franken and what a 60-vote majority means for the Democratic Party. Klobuchar said she is looking forward to a vacation from doing the work of two senators for six months, but joked she won’t be disappearing to Argentina or resigning in front of a lake.

In her previous appearances on the show, Klobuchar made some pretty interesting predictions on the timeline of the Senate race and its legal decision. Maddow plays back just how accurate she was.

Read more on Franken’s first Senate vote and his reflections on the emotions of the day.
