Clown MD hopes to heal with laughter

Andrea Noel really does find laughter to be the best medicine. That’s why after finishing her undergrad work, she was torn after being accepted to both the University of Minnesota Medical School and a clown school in New Zealand. So, she chose both fields of study. The Flexible MD program at the U of M has allowed her to juggle interests in clowning and medicine — and combine the two with humorous results.
