Sen. Franken was approached by a group of concerned activists at his booth in the Minnesota State Fair. While the title of the clip says “Franken talks down angry mob,”  this “mob” appears quite subdued.  The videographer said before this clip was taken, Franken had quickly calmed the crowd enough to conduct a productive conversation on health care reform.  Franken covers an example using the Mayo Clinic to explain how current health care costs are widely unequal and unsustainable.
