War protest on the streets of Minneapolis

Pprotesters expressed their disapproval Wednesday as they marched through the streets of downtown Minneapolis opposing President Obama’s decision to increase troop numbers in Afghanistan.

A chanting crowd was followed by mounted patrol, bicycle police and squad cars as participants carried signs and banners that read, “Peace” and “Bring ’em home.” Police arrested 11 protesters and charged them with unlawful assembly after they blocked off an intersection.
