Started by city folk 55 years ago, Schiefelbein Farms, located in Kimball, Minn., has grown to become one of the largest registered producers of seedstock cattle in the country — all with no hired help. Several Schiefelbein brothers explain the history of this unique 4,000-acre family farm.

A quick note: Seedstock cattle are used for breeding and are typically registered with a breed association, in this case, Angus.
