Former Sen. Norm Coleman, along with Douglas Holtz-Eakin and Rob Collins, launched the American Action Network last month. The network will operate as a politically right-center aggregator and synthesizer of time sensitive information to policy makers.
“The old rules of political engagement will not apply,” Coleman said. The network plans to use new technologies, forums and advertising means to promote their message of a limited role for government and to get more like-minded Republicans into office.
When asked about his future political career in a separate interview about the American Action Network, Coleman points to Brett Favre as an example of how there are always options open for a comeback.
