Minnesota DNR officials north of Duluth grabbed their nets and waded into the fast-moving waters of the St. Louis River in hopes of netting a large sturgeon for research.

Minnesota DNR officials north of Duluth grabbed their nets and waded into the fast-moving waters of the St. Louis River in hopes of netting a large sturgeon for research. Officials gathered information from the fish and implanted a microchip to track data on the population, growth rate and migration patterns.
