Upcoming 3D animated film, ‘Rio,’ follows a macaw from Minnesota to Brazil

The 3D animated film, “Rio,” follows the adventures of one flight-challenged macaw named Blu from his small town home in Minnesota to the rainforest of Brazil and city of Rio de Janeiro. Blu sets off in search of a female macaw named Jewel who he believes is the last of his kind. The film will star Anne Hathaway, Neil Patrick Harris, Rodrigo Santoro, Kate del Castillo and George Lopez. It is set for release in April of 2011.
