Drink up: Locally bred grapes help grow wine industry

You may know the University of Minnesota Horticulture Research Center for its sought-after apple varieties, but the center has also bred four varieties of cold-hardy grapes that thrive in Minnesota weather. These grapes have helped vineyards and the state’s wine industry grow. Horticultural science professor Jim Luby talks about the grape breeding.
