Bachmann foresees job losses if Bush tax cuts aren’t extended

With 2011 fast approaching, Congress is still divided on whether to extend the Bush tax cuts. Rep. Michele Bachmann spoke with Fox News about extending the current tax rate for another two years, if not permanently. Bachmann also supported President Obama’s move to freeze pay for federal workers.

    It cracks me up when they pump themselves up every time with that “Fox News …America’s News Room” slogan. Still, I suppose CNN also has its own equivalent annoyer with “The most trusted name ….”

    But getting back to what Ms. Bachmann, I think the Republicans are really playing a waiting game with the two-year last-ditch compromise on tax-breaks continuance for the ultra-rich. It is obvious they are confident they will have Obama out office by 2012.

    But we should ask: Are Republicans grooming anybody special (a new face, maybe) to wrest the Presidency back into their hands? Do they have any secret plans for winning the Presidency back aside from the amnesia of the voting public?

    The job Bachmann is most concerned about is hers….
    If her backers lose their tax break they might stop giving her money.
