Michele Bachmann’s accusations toward Rick Perry over his efforts to mandate HPV vaccination for Texas sixth-graders have proved both successful and inflammatory.
Bachmann repeated a claim of a relationship between cognitive disabilities and the HPV vaccine after the last GOP debate, and has appeared unwilling to apologize or back off the statement after being confronted by scientists and media.
