Cedar Lake, the World

Stunning views of Cedar Lake, near Aitkin, MN, shot partially from a kite-suspended camera during this relatively snow-free winter. More from Vimeo user Leif Enger:

Here’s a look at our local and deeply loved portion of North America, Cedar Lake, an easy walk from our Aitkin County rancho. Very little snow as you’ll notice. Last time there was a winter this open, Robin and I were still in college — it was January of ’81, 60 degrees, and we all skipped class to play Frisbee under the perplexed and budding trees at Moorhead State University.

Shot with Kodak Zi6, Canon T3i, and, for the aerial bits, a GoPro 960.
