Senator Mike Jungbauer, Republican of East Bethel, passionately defended his attempt to ease Minnesota fireworks restrictions with an amendment to the Viking stadium bill during the Senate debate on Tuesday night. Governor Mark Dayton vetoed an effort to expand legal fireworks in Minnesota earlier this year. The amendment ultimately failed, 32–34.
