Hunger Solutions Minnesota: Fighting hunger on the front lines and at the Capitol

The organization supports the work of area food shelves by providing a food help line and by lobbying in Saint Paul and Washington.

When most of us think of fighting hunger in Minnesota, our thoughts might first turn to the many area food shelves that provide food directly to those in need. Hunger Solutions Minnesota fills a different niche, focusing on two services: their Minnesota Food HelpLine helps inform Minnesotans facing hunger about the help that is available to them and their work lobbying lawmakers in Saint Paul and Washington on behalf of the hungry, enabling food shelves and other hunger organizations to focus on serving their clients without worrying that their voices are being ignored in the halls of power.
