Minnesota Power sends linemen to Maryland to restore power in Sandy’s wake

The utility is sending a crew of 13 from Duluth to Baltimore to help restore power to Maryland.

With power outages afflicting people across the eastern United States in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, Duluth-based utility Minnesota Power has sent a crew of 13 linemen in utility trucks to drive from Northern Minnesota to Baltimore, Maryland to work to help restore power to the state.
