    Cleanup time

In the aftermath of the storm, which was thankfully not as bad as the tornado that went thru two years ago, this is a good opportunity for the owners of rental properties to actually put some attention into the yards of the homes they own but do not live in. On my block, owners and renters are clearly indicated by the condition of the yards. While renters themselves may be decent folk, the absente owners are not. They do not tend to their for profit properties as though they lived in them, and that is a problem for owner occupiers who actually care for the property, it’s appearance, and it’s structural integrity. I’m looking at tornado damage that will never be repaired because absentee owners really don’t care if the income stream is not bothered.
