Minnesota DNR installs new aquariums at the State Fair

The new exhibits were designed to better highlight Minnesota aquatic life in its natural environment.

Visitors to the 2013 Minnesota State Fair may have noticed a change in the Department of Natural Resources building. Gone are the 1960’s era blue-backed fiberglass aquariums. In their place, the DNR has installed aquariums that feature environments closer to actual Minnesota habitats. You can catch a glimpse of the new aquariums in the video below.
