Minneapolis Public Schools heartily endorse ‘farm to school’

Citing the growing problem of obesity and the role a healthy meal can play in helping students focus on their education, Minneapolis Public Schools have spent the last few years overhauling their lunch programs, attempting to include healthier options and working with local farms to provide students with Minnesota-grown products when possible. In the video below, produced by MN2020, MPS students and staff discuss some aspects of the program.
