Bachmann to speak at National Press Club July 28

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann will get even more traction for her presidential campaign when she speaks July 28 at the National Press Club luncheon.

She’ll take questions at the end of her talk.

It’s a prestigious gig for an influential audience, National Press Club members and their guests.

Some other high-powered speakers scheduled for upcoming Press Club luncheons:

  • July 13 — Ted Leonsis, majority owner, Washington Capitals and Washington Wizards
  • July 15 — Tim Armstrong, chairman and CEO of AOL and Arianna Huffington, president and editor-in-chief of The Huffington Post
  • July 18 — Gregory B. Jaczko, chairman, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

    At “the place where news happens”, I understand Bachmann will implode out of a cake at the speakers’ table?

    So much for something-of-substance…and the media brotherhood should be licking lemon frosting off their faces on this one.Wow.
