Michele Bachmann and five other Republican presidential hopefuls will take part in a Twitter debate Wednesday, said Politico.
It’s sponsored by TheTeaParty.net, and also will include Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Gary Johnson, Thad McCotter and Herman Cain.
Tim Pawlenty’s campaign uses Twitter regularly, but he apparently didn’t fit into the sponsor’s plans for this digital debate.
Questions will come from conservative commentator S.E. Cupp and conservative radio host Rusty Humphries. Candidates can answer in two to three tweets of 140 characters.
Questions can be suggested by mentioning @140townhall in a tweet.
The debate will run from 2 to 3:30 p.m. CT Wednesday at 140TownHall.com or by following the Twitter hashtag #140townhall.
