Email pitch: Bachmann for President lapel pin, just $75

Email pitch this morning from the Michele Bachmann camp:

Dear Fellow Conservative,

Last month I sent you an email regarding a special offer from my campaign. It was so successful that we have decided to extend the offer.

If you make a donation of $75 or more our campaign will mail you an exclusive “Bachmann for President” lapel pin. This pin is only being offered to my supporters over email and I hope you will donate today.

In the coming months I will be traveling across the country, sharing our message of constitutional conservatism and my vision for restoring America with the American people. I hope to see you at events on the campaign trail with your lapel pin!

Thank you for your continued support, and may God bless America.

In an attached message she notes:

P.S. The Democrats want nothing more than to defeat me so they can further their far-left agenda. But I refuse to back down and I’m determined to continue fighting for our constitutional conservative values. Will you stand with me today and receive an official “Bachmann for President” lapel pin as a special thank you by making a contribution of $75 or more right now? Please act quickly as we have a limited supply.

Oh, gee, Michele, I’d send you $75 for a lovely Shelley for Prez pin, but I don’t know if I have any more room on my lapel; let’s see, I’ve got a flag pin (so that I don’t forget in which country I live), my anti-abortion baby pin, my only man-woman marriage pin, my no taxes for the top 1% pin, my anti gangster government pin, my Happy Birthday, Elvis pin, my Lexington-Concord New Hampshire pin, my John Wayne Gacy Waterloo Iowa pin, my Fear the Soviet Union pin…

We have a million of the darn things left!

I wonder, will we see MB at the State Fair?
