Pulitzers announced at 2 p.m.

The Strib will find out this afternoon if its bridge-collapse coverage — and ongoing MnDOT investigation — win a Pulitzer. The 2007 winners are expected to be announced at 2 p.m. Central time.

As reported here two weeks ago, internal and external sources expect the paper to be shut out in the writing categories, but hope remains in the photographic categories. This year, fewer finalist names have leaked, so there could be some surprises.
