Need still more politics? Check out Judy Woodruff’s analysis of presidential race

The Republican convention is being held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Mayo Civic Center in Rocheshter,  with Ron Paul expected to speak to his passionate supporters outside the convention hall.

DFLers meet next weekend in the same venue, with much excitement over the Senate race between Jack Nelson-Pallmeyer and Al Franken. It’s also possible that at least one of the three superdelegates still supporting Hillary Clinton will come out for Barack Obama at this event.

But if you need still more politics, Judy Woodruff, who has covered politics for three decades at NBC, CNN and PBS, will speak about this year’s presidential race at 8 p.m. Sunday at Adath Jeshurun Congregation in Minnetonka. The event, sponsored by the Jewish Community Relations Council, is open to the public. Tickets are $36.
