RNC chairman Duncan in town Wednesday

Republican National Committee Chairman Robert “Mike” Duncan will be in town Wednesday to talk election politics with a conservative group in Minneapolis.

He’ll appear at the monthly breakfast meeting of the Minnesota Rough Riders at the Minneapolis Club. The group invites “speakers of note to discuss conservative values and viewpoints consistent with those of its members.”

Maybe they’ll also talk about the Democratic primary results in Oregon and Kentucky and whether John McCain finally has just one opponent.

And no doubt Mr. Duncan will be checking out the Xcel Energy Center and the other focal points of the Republican National Convention, so he’s ready to hit our ground running when the convention comes to town Sept. 1-4.
