Lots of businesses already are cashing in on the economic boost the Republican National Convention will bring, Fox9 News reports. Rental prices for the Minneapolis Park Board’s large tents, for example, have jumped from $50 to $10,000.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Minneapolis Park Board is not a business.

It is, however, a sub-unit of a city government that has a long history of unabashedly shaking out the pockets of it’s constitutents…so I can see where they might not immediately see just how seedy they are.
