Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton has agreed to speak on the second night of the Democratic National Convention, reports Suzanne Malveaux of CNN, adding that Aug. 26 is the 88th anniversary of the day women earned the right to vote.

“Newt Gingrich will be in St. Paul for the Republican National Convention. Evangelist Pat Robertson will not,” writes Tom Webb in the Pioneer Press. Other expected GOP notables  include California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and ex-NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani. But Vice President Dick Cheney isn’t sure.
