IP Senate candidate Uldrich wastes no time releasing ‘viral’ ad

Jack Uldrich, an Independence Party candidate for the U.S. Senate, promised a high-tech, low-cost campaign when he announced his candidacy Tuesday.

On Thursday, he followed up on that promise with a unique, two-view (one hopeless, the other hopeful) ad on the state of the country and American politics. The inspiration for the ad, said Ulrich, was taken from a YouTube video “Lost Generation” and cost less than $500 to produce.

You can see the ad here.

Initially, Uldrich said he is “going viral” with the ads, meaning that when 20 of his friends see it, they will pass it along to their friends. Eventually, he said, he may be able to go to cable television with the series of “innovative” ads he is preparing.
