Minnesota businesses step up as sponsors of nonpartisan CivicFest

Some of Minnesota’s biggest companies have signed on as sponsors for CivicFest, the big political and history festival that will run in conjunction with the Republican National Convention.

Organizers are quick to note that CivicFest is nonpartisan: There will be memorabilia, artifacts and exhibits from both sides of the aisle.

CivicFest will run at the Minneapolis Convention Center from Aug. 29 to Sept. 4. The convention is at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Sept. 1-4.
