Sen. Ted Stevens of Alaska, the longest-serving Republican in the Senate was indicted today by a federal grand jury for allegedly making false statements on his Senate financial disclosure forms to conceal the fact that an energy company paid for hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of work on his home. Stevens, who has been a senator since 1968, is up for reelection this year and is in a toss-up race against Democrat Mark Begich, the mayor of Anchorage.

All Ted Stevens was doing for the last 40 years is politics as normal for our present members of our U. S. Congress.

This is this continuing reoccurring problem with ethics in our Government.

When a politian needs millions of dollars to fund their re-election campaigns it is obvious that their will be conflicts of interest at all levels. Strange our own Senator Norm Coleman is caught literally in bed with one of the most influential Republican Lobbyist Mr. Larson that helps get millions of dollars in donations for his campaign and Senator Coleman gives the same Mr. Larson literally millions of dollars back for the services. Very questionable?

Then when he is indicted for breaking Senate ethic rules by the Minnesota DFL party no one talks about it. You can see the double standard of what our Elected or should I say politicians who have enough money to buy their offices have to do to get elected.

That is the way is and has always been in our American Congress. I would be the first U.S. Senator who if elected would have done it without sleeping literally with million dollars lobbyists.

Of course you all well ask well if Jack Shepard beats Norm Coleman in the GOP Primary on Sept. 9, 2008 what will happen? How will Jack Shepard be able to come back to Minnesota to campaign?

Well the easiest answer is as another journalist wrote several weeks ago; “to catch him we will have to elect him” Also to set the record straight no one is looking for me, stories are great but for sure the few journalist who wrote about me in the past never took time to even think about it. Why and How does Jack Shepard do the things he does. http://www.jackshepardforsenate.com/Middle_East_Region.html

All Ted Stevens was doing for the last 40 years is politics as normal for our present members of our U. S. Congress.

All I can say if I was at Norm Coleman’s New York University when Norm Coleman was leader of his anti-establishment group and literal publishing articles about “conservative kids don’t get high and ___like we do” etc.

I can guarantee that Norm Coleman would have ended up in jail like so many people in the 1970’s and early 1980’s and not knowing who fingered them. Jack who? Jack of all trades?

Even Florida attorney Norm Kent, still asks Senator Norm Coleman; “will you after 40 years standing up and start telling us who the real Norm Coleman is by first coming clean with your fellow Minnesotans by saying: “I, Norm Coleman, smoked pot in 1969.” Even Obama said for a few years he stayed high, come on Norm time for a confession; you where no angle- maybe God wanted to test us? But enough with the stories and stories come on!

Please elected a real change, a politician a U.S. Senator who did not owe a favour to anyone but the hard working Minnesotan’s and who unlike Senator Norm Coleman will vote for Healthcare for working Minnesotan without healthcare, Unlike Sen. Norm Coleman will vote for an increase in Medicare funding.

Please remember when you vote for Norm Coleman look at his record and see what he says often is not how he voted.

He talks a good game and will say anything to get elected like 100% of the Politician presently in our Congress,. that is why I hope for that Miracle that you vote for your own personal reasons for Jack Shepard. I guarantee if you elect me; you will pleasantly be surprised, and see a miracle that you will be proud of.
