The Democrats are first out of the gate with their presidential nominating convention, which starts in Denver two weeks from today, and they’ve now announced their schedule of speakers. Here’s the line-up:

Monday, Aug. 25:  The headline prime-time speaker for opening day will be Michelle Obama.

Tuesday: Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton will be the featured speaker.

Wednesday: Barack Obama’s vice presidential nominee will have the prime-time spotlight.

Thursday:  For the finale, the Democrats will throw open the doors of the convention and move to INVESCO Field at Mile High so that the public can take part in festivities when Barack Obama accepts his party’s nomination.
