Sen. Norm Coleman, New York’s Rudy Giuliani headline today’s GOP annual dinner

Today’s annual Minnesota GOP annual dinner hearkens to some Republican glory days with the theme: “Lincoln * Reagan.”

It will be held at the Marriott Minneapolis Southwest in Minnetonka with two guests of honor, retiring 3rd District Rep. Jim Ramstad and Midge Dean, a prominent St. Cloud Republican and fundraiser.

Honorary chairs are Gov. Tim Pawlenty and U.S. Reps. John Kline and Michele Bachmann, and the special guests are Sen. Norm Coleman and New York’s Rudy Giuliani.

The event begins with a VIP photo reception at 5:30 p.m.for $500. The 6:30 p.m. dinner also costs $500. Admission to a separate “Victory Reception,” also at 6:30 p.m., is $50.

A link to the invitation web page is here. On the invitation is a box that reads: “Paid for by the Minnesota-Coleman Victory Committee, a joint fundraising committee authorized by and composed of Coleman for Senate ’08 and The Republican Party of Minnesota, 7315 Wisconsin Avenue, Suite 310 East, Bethesda, MD, 20814.”

That same Maryland suite also houses Campaign Financial Services, a company that provides a wide range of financial services for campaigns.
