Congressman Ellison headlining tonight’s economic recovery forum

Minnesota’s 5th District Rep.

Minnesota’s 5th District Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, is appearing tonight at a forum on economic recovery at Temple Israel.

It will be one of 30 similar forums across the country, featuring local experts talking about the causes of the economic crisis. There also will be testimony about the impact of the crisis in our community, and a call to action for economic recovery for public officials.

The session runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the temple, 2324 Emerson Ave S., Minneapolis,
