Rybak: Minneapolis can be a mean, green, job-growing machine

Mayor R.T. Rybak has an early morning meeting Wednesday with the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce to talk about ways to further develop the city’s green economy.

They’re expecting people from “dozens of Minneapolis-based green manufacturing, retail and professional services businesses” to show up with ideas, particularly ideas on expanding the manufacturing sector.

His honor says Minneapolis is well-situated to be a leading center of the new green economy.

The  meeting is at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Chambers Hotel in downtown Minneapolis.
